My name is Michael Moriarty.  This website is still the outlet for two of my interests, surfing and photography.  I primarily surf, and photograph surfers, in Ventura County (California Street).  Over the course of the past 18 months or so, I've met, talked with, listened to, and photographed a large number of you, the surfers.  Many of you I've captured through my lens and have learned many things about surfing from this unique point of view.  I am slowly changing the SurfStills site (it needs a face lift!) and adding some new features such as "Your Break...  Your Ride...", and, hopefully, an interview section called, "5 Questions?"
